WATER POLLUTION by Roland, 5th grade
When rivers are polluted, it may lead to outbreak of water-born diseases. In most areas of the country, people resort to throwing their household wast or refuse into rivers and any isolated area in the community. This leads to destruction of the environment. Appropriate measures should be adopted in the disposal of domestic and industrial waste. This can be achieved by locating refuse dumping sites far away from settlements and establishing a factory to recycle waste products.
